1. HIPAA-ready architecture
Kovinex LLC builds Kovinex for healthcare and other regulated practices. The platform is designed with a HIPAA-ready architecture, including workspace isolation, role-based access, encryption in transit, encryption of recordings and integration tokens at rest, audit logging, and session controls.
This notice does not state that Kovinex is HIPAA compliant for a given customer deployment until required Business Associate Agreements are executed with Kovinex and with vendors on the applicable data path, and until the customer maintains its own operational policies, workforce training, and configuration.
2. Customer responsibilities
Before placing protected health information into Kovinex, the customer must complete BAAs where required, configure retention and access to match its policies, and treat Kovinex as a business system under its own compliance program.
